Selected projects

BEETSTORE (2017 – 2020) aimed at deciphering molecular markers which are linked to the storability of sugar beet tap roots by combining transcriptomics and metabolomics. Co-funded by the FFG, grant agreement n° 855706.

EVOLTREE (ongoing) stands for EVOLution of TREEs as drivers of terrestrial biodiversity and aims at linking ecology, genetics, genomics and evolution to address global issues that European forests are currently facing. Network of Excellence (25 partners in 15 EU countries) was co-funded by the EU FP6, grant agreement n° 16322 (2006 – 2010). Since 2011 extended as European Research Group (ERG).

FFoQSI (ongoing) the Austrian Competence Centre for Feed and Food Quality Safety and Innovation wants to make food and food production better, safer and more sustainable. Co-funded by the FFG, grant agreement n° 854182.

TREES4FUTURE (2011 – 2016) aimed at integrating, developing and improving major forest genetics and forestry research infrastructures. Co-funded by the EU FP7, grant agreement n° 284181.

VIOLINCODE (2015 – 2019) seeks to build up a reference database and to decipher a violin’s origin based on genetic markers. Co-funded by the FFG, grant agreement n° 850678.
